How to Add The "Save & Close" Command Back to Outlook Appointments
Microsoft has removed the "Save & Close" command from the Ribbon in Outlook Appointments. I have no idea why they chose to do this, but you can easily get the command back by adding it to the Quick Access Toolbar.
Open a new calendar appointment and click on the "down arrow" in the Quick Access Toolbar and then select "More Commands...".
Click on "Commands Not in the Ribbon"
The commands are listed in alphabetical order. Scroll down to "Save & Close".
Click "Add >>" and the command will move to the right window.
You can then use the up and down arrows to change the order that the commands are listed in the toolbar.
Click "Okay" to save the changes
